ISI
3500 Thermal Imaging Camera
The tough, high performance ISI 3500 thermal imaging
camera set new industry standards in durability,
reliability, image quality, and endurance,
helping to minimize the danger that fire
and rescue workers face every day.
The palm-sized ISI 3500 is the only TIC to
pass a ten-foot drop test. After surviving
six consecutive ten-foot drops, it remained
fully operational without a restart.
Durability is virtually built-in. It surpasses the
most demanding requirements for vibration
tolerance and is IP67 waterproof. It also
features straps, bumpers, outer shells and
a battery housing that has passed the same
type of flame testing that’s used to test
breathing apparatus.
No more changing batteries at the fire scene. The ISI
3500 is so efficient, a single battery provides full-function
operation for over four hours. It can be completely
recharged in two hours. With no need for standby mode
to save power, this camera is ready the moment you need
it, providing instant-on startup and delivering enhanced
thermal images in just three seconds.
With its superior, advanced dynamic range, the chance
of image whiteouts is essentially eliminated. State-of-the-art
thermal imaging technology consistently produces clearer
images than any other product available, especially
in very high temperature ranges.
The ISI 3500 sensor refreshes at the rate of 30 Hz,
yielding improved frame updates and image clarity while
moving rapidly within the fire scene. A telescoping
pole lets firefighters search hard-to-reach areas like
attics, basements and confined spaces without entering
such areas themselves. And an external, two-channel
transmitter can send images to the command center, improving
real-time strategy and resource coordination.
