ISI offers
the Rescuer RIT bag for use by rapid intervention teams
that allows fire fighters to offer air to trapped or downed
firefighters. You have a choice between three rescue systems,
either the RIC, RIT or both types of fittings. Either
system can be used with high or low pressure cylinders
of any duration.
The RIC system uses the
universal fitting required by the
NFPA 1981, 2002 edition. It can
be attached to the Viking
SCBA and remain
connected so that the
cylinder automatically refills
when it is below full.
The RIT system allows you
to attach the fitting to either the facemask or buddy
breather of the Magnum or Viking SCBA. There is also
an end-of-service alarm to warn when the spare cylinder
is low.
The Combo unit combines both the RIC and RIT options to
allow users to use with either type system.
